Elemis was born in 1989 with a strong belief in the power of touch and essential oils. Nowhere could a professional therapist find a range of truly top quality aromatherapy products, with a high level of activity, which brought the results the therapist wanted to achieve.
Jan Kusmirek, a leading expert on herbalism and aromatherapy, pioneered the original concept and formulations for the range. He is still responsible for creating new and expert aromatherapy blends, as well as supervising the sourcing and production of our Essential Oils.
During this time Noella Gabriel devised an innovative range of hands-on treatments, drawing on her experience as a beauty therapist and her knowledge in holistic therapies. Noella's treatments were unique and took therapists to a new level of hands-on understanding.
